Membership

There are four levels of membership which include teachers and students. The membership calendar runs from July 1st through June 30th of the following year.

Active Members - $20.00 per year: Any non-student engaged in teaching music is eligible to join as an active member. This level has voting privileges, can hold office, and participate in all association activities. In order to enter students in any music festival, an Active Member must attend at least two workshops per year. Join the UVMTA

Supportive Members - $20.00 per year: Any non-student who wishes to promote the activities of the UVMTA. These members have the same privileges as Active Members. Join the UVMTA

Student Members - $10.00 per year: Any high school or college-age student who teaches music. These members have the same privileges as Active Members but cannot vote or hold office. Join the UVMTA

Junior Members - $6.50 per festival: Any student under college age who chooses to participate in the music festivals. They can attend any of the Association's recitals or workshops, participate in festivals when sponsored by an Active or Student Member, earn awards, apply for scholarships, and participate in Junior recitals. They cannot, however, vote or hold office. Join the UVMTA
