What is the UVMTA?

Piano Tuners

Membership

Our membership calendar runs from July 1st through June 30th of the following year. Membership levels are:

Active Members - $20.00 per year: Any non-student engaged in teaching music is eligible to join as an active member. This level has voting privileges, can hold office, and participate in all association activities. In order to enter students in any music festival, an Active Member must attend at least two workshops per year.

Supportive Members - $20.00 per year: Any non-student who wishes to promote the activities of the UVMTA as is not currently teaching. These members have the same privileges as Active Members.

Student Members - $10.00 per year: Any high school or college-age student who teaches music may join at this level. These members have the same privileges as Active Members but cannot vote or hold office.

Junior Members - $6.50 per festival: Any student who is under college age and currently working with an Active or Student member and chooses to participate in the junior music festivals are considered members. They can attend any of the Association's recitals or workshops, participate in festivals, earn awards, apply for scholarships, and participate in Junior recitals. They cannot, however, vote or hold office.
