Welcome
Based in and around Rexburg, Idaho, this music teachers association has been successfully providing student festivals and teacher workshops since 1941. UVMTA members teach piano, voice, organ, band, harp and strings. (More on Membership)
Junior Festivals
Our music festivals are scheduled at BYU-I each spring and fall, usually in November and April. Students receive scores ranging from 85 to 100 points and can earn awards such as pins, figurines and gift certificates by continued participation.

Scholarships
The UVMTA scholarship program is designed to assist music students of all ages in paying for their music education expenses whether it be for private or group lessons, printed music from retailers, or in the case of high school seniors, college tuition. (More on Scholarships)

Mission Statement
The UVMTA is a non-profit organization seeking to provide its members opportunities to improve teaching, music, and technical skills through workshops as well as provide an avenue for student growth and achievement through music festivals and scholarships.

Workshops
